Many traditions surrounding marriage, the wedding day and the couple itself are not super relevant to us or our community these days - as let’s be honest, often it’s tradition that is standing in our way! Having said that though there are a few traditions which we’re happy to hang on to. Not seeing your partner on the day of the wedding before the ceremony? We can take it or leave it. Presents on the day of the wedding? We will definitely take it!
Whether you’re a fan of traditions on prefer to make your own, giving and/or receiving a gift from your groom is always special, and on your wedding day it can really add a super special touch to the best day of your lives together so far. Here at The Chronicles, we have complied a little collection of our favourite groom to groom gifts, which are all things that we would be stoked to give, or receive on our wedding day. Take note!

TARMAC BY HERMES
Don’t you even think of letting your groom head to the nose of the plane without securing his passport in this delicious passport holder by Hermès. ORIENTALIST BY TOM DIXON
Made in London and poured into a brass vessel, this candle opens with top notes of Cassis and Violet Leaves and is grounded by a heady Patchouli, Amber and Musk. If Tom Dixon is new to you, you will not be disappointed and we would say this would be the perfect scent for your groom to have burning as he relaxes and prepares for the big day ahead.
Available at Net-A-Porter
FUSION PENDANT BY GEORG JENSEN
There is not many jewellery ranges more symbolic than the Fusion range by Georg Jensen. Featuring pieces of 18-carat white gold fused together and dotted with brilliant cut diamonds, a gift from this range will show your partner how excited you are to see your life fuse with theirs and experience the brilliant future ahead. If white gold isn’t their thing, chose from a variety of precious metals and increasing amounts of bling from this piece we have shown here, to one completely diamond encrusted.
Available at Georg Jensen.
ART BY OTOMYS
Although unconventional and something a little left of field, art is an incredibly personal purchase that will stand the test of time and be a constant reminder of the love that you and your groom have for each other. We are pretty much obsessed with anything that Otomys includes in their specially curated collection, but a piece by Trevor Mein or Chris Warnes would be our pick (hint hint).
